President urges graduates to comprehend current situation, be part of solution
Addis Ababa, October 9, 2021 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde urged today’s graduates of Addis Ababa to comprehend current situation of the country with full composure and be part of the solution.
She called on the graduates to recover what is lost and rebuild what is damaged to help ensure reinvigoration of Ethiopia. “You have to be sure that what you are doing now will not jeopardize our share future” Sahle-Work paraphrased.
“You have to properly apply your knowledge to take Ethiopia out of recent situation and transform it into a better passion” the President underlined.
Addis Ababa University, in its 72nd round graduation ceremony, qualified 6,163 students with undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral degree.
Education Minister, Professor Birhanu Nega, Addis Ababa City Mayor Adanech Abiebie, Addis Ababa University’s Management Board members and a number of high officials have attended the graduation ceremony.
