Save the Children donates COVID 19 control technologies to Ministry of Health

Addis Ababa, December 30, 2020 (FBC) – Save the Children has today donated 505 tablets to the federal Ministry of Health in support of COVID 19 control efforts in Ethiopia.

Save the Children Ethiopia director, Ekin Ogutogullari has handed over the tablets to the State Health Minister, Dr. Dereje Duguma.

During the handover ceremony, the Health State Minister, Dr. Dereje Duguma said the technologies are useful to transform data storage and exchange works, set up effective communication system and pass proper decission in line with enhancing the health sector and effectively control the spear of the Coronavirus.

He further expressed gratitude to Save the Children on behalf of the Health Ministry and the country at large for the donation.

Save the Children Ethiopia director, Ekin Ogutogullari , to his part reaffirmed commitment of his organization to continue support to Ethiopia’s efforts in the fight against the pandemic.
