Slovenia To Open An Embassy In Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, April 10, 2023 (FBC) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen, received Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Republic Slovenia to Europe.

Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Mister and Foreign Minister, Tanja Fajon, is on an official visit to Ethiopia.

According to Ministry of Foreign affairs (MFA) the two Deputy Prime Ministers have agreed to diversify and take the relations to a new height.

DPM Demeke briefed his Slovenian counterpart about the ongoing implementation of the Pretoria Peace Agreement, MFA added.

DPM Tanja Fajon, on her part commended the implementation of the Peace Agreement, expressed the commitment of her government to support all implementation efforts, MFA has stated.

She also stated that Slovenia is prepared to open an Embassy in Addis Ababa, MFA has indicated.
