Somali Region Security Bureau leadership meets with counterpart of Hirshabelle State of Somalia
Addis Ababa, December 31, 2021 (FBC) – Leaders of Security Bureau of Somali Region of Ethiopia have discussed with counterparts of the Hirshabelle State of Somalia on security affairs.
Head of the Somali Region Security Bureau, Mushbar Dubad, Commander of the Somali Region Special Force, Commissioner General Mohammed Ahmed, Commissioner of Somali Region, Commissioner General Muhamud Ali hassen are attending the joint meeting from Ethiopian side while Head of the Hiran Zone, Ali Jayite Ousman and Commander of the 5th Battalion of the Somalia National Defense, General Muhamud Hassen along with other officials have represented the Republic of Somalia in the forum.
The two sides further agreed to jointly prevent incursion of anti-peace elements into cross-border areas of the two countries, fend off communal violence and respond to humanitarian needs of drought affected people in neighboring areas, According to Somali Region Security Bureau.
