Some 14 members of OLF-Shene group killed in Guji Zone

Addis Ababa, November 10, 2020 (FBC) – Some 14 members of an armed group of Oromo Liberation Front, Shene have been killed in Guji Zone, Oromia Region during an operation carried out by the government.

According to Chief Administrator of Guji Zone, Tadelle Udo, 17 more members of OLF Shene were wounded while additional 13 members held under security forces custody.

The regional government security forces have taken the action against the armed group in collaboration with members of the community in the area, according to the information from Oromia Communication Bureau.

With support of an investigation work they had conducted, the Guji Zone security forces have arrested three individuals who have received mission of violence from the TPLF rebel group, the bureau stated.
