UK Minister for Africa says TPLF hampering humanitarian relief in Tigray

Addis Ababa, January 27, 2022 (FBC) – UK Minister for Africa Vicky Ford stated that the TPLF’s fresh assaults in Afar Region blocked humanitarian operation in northern Ethiopia.

She added that the offensive operations around the town of Ab’ala, Afar are hampering relief efforts in Tigray.

She called on the TPLF to stop fighting, adding that protection of civilians must be prioritized.
