UNHCR Ethiopia says it needs $370mln for humanitarian aid in the country in 2023

Addis Ababa, December 21, 2022 (FBC) – United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees representative in Ethiopia (UNHCR Ethiopia) said it needs 370 million USD to support IDPs, refugees and returnees, the UN Refugee Agency announced.

The mentioned amount of money is said to be needed to support about 880,000 refugees and returnees as well as about 4.7 million internally displaced people due to drought and conflict.

The money is needed for the immediate provision of shelter and food support, UNHCR Ethiopia stated its social media post.
