UNIDO pledges €2mln technical support to increase Ethiopian coffee volume, quality and value

Addis Ababa, October 27, 2022 (FBC) – United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) pledges technical support worth of €2 million to increase the quality, volume, and price of Ethiopian coffee.

The agreement was signed between the Italian Embassy in Ethiopia with the UNIDO to kick off the Organization’s partnership model for de-risking investments in the Ethiopian coffee sector.

It has been stated that the project will reduce the risks of investments in the coffee sector in Ethiopia.

According to the Italian Embassy in Ethiopia, it is possible to increase the quantity, quality and demand of Ethiopian coffee.
