WFP humanitarian aircraft lands at Mekelle after taking off from Addis Ababa.

Addis Ababa, July 17, 2021 (FBC) – Based on the WFP request to the Federal government of Ethiopia, a humanitarian flight has been to Mekelle City via Addis Ababa.

The flight has been carried out in support of humanitarian assistance activities under way in Tigray region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

The government reaffirmed commitment to continue to facilitate humanitarian assistance entry to the Tigray region.
