World Bank vows to continue support for development activities in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa February 14, 2023 (FBC) – Planning and Development Minister, Fitsum Assefa has received and held talks with members of the World Bank delegation in her office.

The two sides explored ways how to cement existing cooperation between Ethiopia and the World Bank and identified areas for further collaboration.

The Minister highlighted the role of the World Bank in backing development aspiration of Ethiopia, calling for enhanced partnership on mutual engagements.

World Bank Ethiopia Director, Ousmane Dione, for his part, reiterated continued support for development activities the Government of Ethiopia has been undertaking in various sectors.
