3rd Int’l Pharmaceuticals Suppliers’ conference commences in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, September 25, 2023 (FBC) – The 3rd International Pharmaceuticals Suppliers’ Conference, organized by the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Service, kicked off in Addis Ababa city this morning.

Being held under the theme “Creating Connections: Building Supply Chain Bridges Together”, the conference will help to create investment opportunities for international pharmaceuticals suppliers and manufacturers to manufacture medicines and medical equipment in Ethiopia.

The event is deemed to address the shortage of pharmaceuticals supply chain through discussion and to allow manufacturers to register their products in Ethiopia.

It is learned that the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Service covers 83 percent of the supply of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in the country.

The event brought together representatives of government institutions, pharmaceuticals suppliers and distributors, and manufacturers, while stakeholders from all over the world are participating online.
