Addis Ababa to host High-Level Policy Roundtable on Regional Integration, Human Mobility in HOA

Addis Ababa, October 9, 2023 (FBC) – IOM and stakeholders will hold High-Level Policy Roundtable on Regional Integration and Human Mobility in East and the Horn of Africa on October 10 in Addis Ababa.

The event will be co-hosted by IOM at African Union & UNECA, IGAD Secretariat, East African Community, and Amani Africa at Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The High-Level Policy Roundtable will be attended by the new Directo General of International Oranization for Migration, Amy Pope, who is in Addis Ababa since yesterday for official working visit since assuming office last week to discuss with stakeholders on pressing issues pertaining to migration.

The event will be held under the theme “The State of Migration in East & Horn of Africa Report”.
