Arab League member states celebrate 77th Anniversary of the League in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, March 23, 2022 (FBC) – Member states of the Arab League have celebrated the 77th Anniversary of the League in Addis Ababa for the first time in the presence of Ambassador of various countries and Ethiopian high level government officials.
Arab League Permanent Representative to Ethiopia, AU and UNECA, Ambassador Walid Hamed Shiltagh presided over the celebration.
He explained the history of the Leagues of Arab states. Ambassador Wolid Hamid reiterated the commitment of the Arab League to enhance cooperation with Africa.
The Ambassador of Morocco to Ethiopia Neziha Alawi also gave a speech commended the strengthening of the relation between the Arab League and Africa.
Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Dina Mufti commended the relationship between Africa and the Arab League stressing need to further enhance the ties for mutual benefits.
