China vows support to Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute

Addis Ababa, December 20, 2023 (FBC) – In a discussion between the officials of Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute (EAII) and China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese delegates disclosed that their country will support EAII.

During the meeting, both sides explored areas of cooperation.

The Executive Director of the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute, Mr. Worku Gachena highlighted the overall undertakings of his institute.

He indicated that EAII and China’s Ministry of Science and Technology can work closely in technology, capacity building, research and development.

Ren Hongbo, on behalf of China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, said that his ministry is ready to provide diversified support to EAII.
