Discussion on expanding call points for Ethiopian Airlines in Canada held

Addis Ababa, September 19, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador Mesganu Arga, Ethiopia’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and his delegation including Ambassador Fitsum Arega Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Canada, met with Canada’s Chief Air Negotiator, Ms. Shendra Melia and her negotiating team.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting was held to discuss expanding call points for Ethiopian Airlines in Canada. It is noted that the discussion aims to increase flight frequency of the Airline to Canada.

Both sides agreed to continue these discussions positively, with a view to further explore this opportunity, MFA Ethiopia indicated.
