DR Congo Foreign Minister arrives in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, February 4, 2021(FBC) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DR Congo,  Marie Tumba Nzeza, has arrived  in Addis Ababa today.

State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano accorded a warm welcome to the Congolese Minister and her delegation at Bole International Airport.

It is to be recalled that President Sahle-Work Zewde paid a visit to DR Congo  a week ago.

During the visit, the President announced Ethiopia ‘s plan to reopen soon its embassy in that country.

The Ethiopian President also discussed with her Congolese counterpart, Félix Tshisekedi  on ways to cement ties between Kinshasa and Addis Ababa as well as exchanged views on topics of mutual interest.
