Electricity services restored in Adwa, Axum and Shire towns

Addis Ababa, January 19, 2021 (FBC) –Electricity services have been restored in Tigray’s Adwa, Axum and Shire towns.

The towns have been plagued with power disruption because of the damage TPLF inflicted to infrastructure in the regional state.

However, as a result of efforts made to rehabilitate the infrastructure, electricity services have been returned in most areas of the regional state.

According to the Ethiopian Electric Power, more efforts were underway to restore electricity services in Humera and Wolkaite towns and their environs.
