Ethio-Turkiye business, investment forum held Samsun city

Addis Ababa, June 16, 2023 (FBC) – Ethio-Turkiye business and investment forum was held in the city of Samsun, Turkiye, the Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara confirmed.

The forum has been attended by over seventy investors who expressed strong desire in exploring investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

At the forum, Temesgen Tilahun, Ethiopian Investment Commission Deputy Commissioner, presented the diverse investment opportunities, policy reforms and incentive packages of Ethiopia and addressed questions raised by participants.

The mayor of Samsun City, Ambassador of Ethiopia to Turkiye Adem Mohammed, and CEO of Sampa, a heavy trucks component manufacturing company, also encouraged investors to visit Ethiopia and tap the vast investments opportunities.

It is learned that Samsun City is one of the economic hubs of Turkiye on the Eastern coast of the Black Sea.
