Ethiopian Group CEO meets with Administrator of TSA

Addis Ababa, August 24, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew welcomed David P. Pekoske, Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the Airline confirmed today.

It is mentioned that the two parties held fruitful deliberations on bilateral issues.

Ethiopian Group CEO, Mr. Mesfin said, “We welcome the visit of Administrator of TSA, Mr. David P. Pekoske to Ethiopian Airlines. Safety and security are number one priorities for Ethiopian Airlines. We have been working closely with the excellent team of TSA to ensure that our operations are safe, secure and in full compliance with the industry standards.”

Mesfin added that the Airline appreciates the support provided by TSA, and would like to nurture the partnership developed over the years. “We will continue investing on technology and human resources and bolster cooperation with TSA to enhance our safety standards to a higher level.”

TSA Administrator, David P. Pekoske, congratulated Ethiopian Airlines for winning Skytrax awards for six years in a row and for being cargo airline of the year.

“Coming out of the pandemic, Ethiopian growth is impressive,” the TSA Administrator said.
