Foreign Affairs State Minister, U.S Ambassador discuss cooperation in various sectors 

Addis Ababa, December 27, 2023 (FBC) – State Minister of Political and Economic Diplomacy, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, earlier this morning conferred with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Ethiopia, Ambassador Ervin Jose Massinga on current affairs, bilateral, regional and multilateral issues of mutual concern.

They discussed cooperation in education, aviation, trade and people-to-people relations, among other things.

Speaking of the upcoming celebration of the 120th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and the U.S, the State Minister stressed the fact that the occasion will provide unprecedented opportunities to review and upscale the ties.

Ambassador Massinga also expressed his high hopes of the anniversary serving as a watershed moment to showcase significant milestones in the longstanding bilateral relations.
