Mayor, Muslim World League SG laid the foundation stone for 19 storey bldg. in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, August 15, 2023 (FBC) – Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie and the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Issa have laid the foundation stone for the a new building for Awolia Relief and Development Organization.

In her remarks at the foundation stone laying ceremony, the Mayor said, Awolia has been undertaking relief activities in supporting generations for decades calling the planned building a symbol of unity.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, Sheikh Haji Ibrahim Tufa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Issa and invited guests.
