MFA Minister of State Mesganu meets Bangladeshi Ambassador

Addis Ababa, October 11, 2023 (FBC) – Mesganu Arga, State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, received and held discussions with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Ethiopia, Skider Bodiruzzaman, at his office today.

Ambassador Mesganu stressed the need to expand the bilateral cooperation in economic and political fields, as well as at multilateral platforms. He also confirmed the political will to open Ethiopian diplomatic mission in Dhaka.

Ambassador Bodiruzzaman, on his part, assured his Government’s commitment to scale up the business ties and facilitate air connectivity.

The two sides further exchanged views on the need to expedite the signing of bilateral agreements in Air Service and other areas including industry, commerce and visa waiver.
