President Sahle-Work confers with President of European Council

Addis Ababa, February 19, 2023 (FBC) – The FDRE President Sahle-work Zewde held discussion with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, on ways to strengthen Ethiopia -EU relations.

In the discussion, they advised on ways to further strengthen Ethiopia’s relationship with the Union.

They agreed to further strengthen Ethiopia’s strong relationship with the European Council. Their discussion also covered current state of affairs in Ethiopia.

According to ENA’s report, European Council President Charles Michel expressed his satisfaction with the peace agreement reached between the Ethiopian government and TPLF.
