Terrorist Shene brutally massacred eight civilians including brothers of former Oromia President Alemayehu Atomsa

Addis Ababa, December 27, 2021 (FBC) – The terrorist Shene Group massacred eight innocent civilians Nono Benja Woreda of Jima Zone including three brothers of former Oromia Region President Alemayehu Atomsa.

Berecha Teku, Chief Administrator of Nono Benja Woreda, said that brothers of former President of the Region namely Adeba Atomsa, Tilinti Atomsa and Mulatu Atomsa are among the victims of the inhumane mass killing committed by the terrorist Shene on December 24, 2021.

It is to be recalled that Mr. Alemayehu Atomsa was a visionary leader who is one of the then influential government officials who started the struggle of the Oromo people and then accelerated ousting of the rule of the terrorist TPLF.

Berecha indicated that two of the victims of women, adding that the terrorist Shene has also destroyed properties and 17 houses of farmers of the area.  The terrorist group has also forced many in the area to flee their homes.
