Terrorist TPLF fully destroys more than 260 schools in Amhara region

Addis Ababa, September 13, 2021 (FBC) – The terrorist TPLF has fully destroyed 260 schools in Amhara Regional State, region’s Education Bureau Head Getachew Biazin said.

Additional 2,511 have been also partially damaged due to the attacks of the terrorist element that targeted civilians in the region, according to Getachew.

Schools destroyed had a capacity of accommodating over 1 Million students before they turned into ashes in intentional attacks by the renegade enterprise.

The renegade group has inflicted destruction to many educational institutions including colleges in areas it invaded in Amhara Regional State.

TPLF destroyed several infrastructures, looted institutions and private properties across the region especially in North Wollo, North Gondar, South Gondar and Wag-Herma Zones, he added.

Currently, close to a million people who fled their homes in Amhara and Afar regional states due to terrorist TPLF atrocities are leading miserable lives in camps.
