Council of Ministers endorses draft proclamation for formation of National Dialogue Commission

Addis Ababa, December 10, 2021 (FB C) – Council of Ministers in today’s cabinet session has endorsed a draft proclamation for the formation of a National Dialogue Commission.

Formation of the Commission is aimed to bring an independent and credible institution to carry out an inclusive national dialogue that will involve political elites with diverse approaches towards major national issues and the public at large.

The council has referred the draft proclamation to the House of Peoples Representatives for approval.
