Eid Al Fitr Celebrated across the nation
Addis Ababa, May 24, 2020 (FBC) – The 1441st Eid Al Fitr Holiday is being celebrated across the country.
Ethiopian Muslims are observing Eid Al Fitr, the end of the grand Ramadan month with various religious and traditional events at home in all parts of Ethiopia.
President of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, Grand Mufti Haji Omer Idris said the holiday is being celebrated in unique manner compared to the previous ones due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Grand Mufti expressed his gratitude to media houses for livestreaming religious events to the followers who are celebrating the holiday at home.
Muslims have been urged by the Grand Mufti to support those who are in need while observing the Eid Al Fitr Holiday.
