Ethiopia hosts ‘6th Evidence to Action Int’l Conference’

Addis Ababa, July 27, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia has hosted the 6th Evidence to Action International Conference.

It is stated that the international conference aimed to bridge the gap between evidence and policy issues in solving national problems.

State Minister of Planning and Development, Tirumar Abate said that Ethiopia is facing challenges in issues of COVID-19, the Russia-Ukraine war, climate change, and internal conflicts.

However, she said that the country has withstood the challenges and made progress.

She said Ethiopia is committed to using evidence to inform policy and decision-making.

Regarding the international conference the state Minister said the conference is an opportunity for Ethiopia to learn from other countries and to share its own experiences.
