Ethiopia registers highest single-day increase in COVID19 cases

Addis Ababa, July 24, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia today reported a record 760 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID19).

The overall number of coronavirus infections in the country has now climbed to 12, 693.

The Ministry also registered 3 COVID 19-related deaths, bringing the death toll to 200.

Some 140 patients have also recovered from the virus, taking the total number of recoveries to 5, 785.

Ethiopia has so far conducted 364, 322 laboratory tests.
