Ethiopian Airlines officially resumes the Addis Ababa-Mekele regular flights

Addis Ababa, December 28, 2022 (FBC) –Ethiopian Airlines officially resumed its regular flights on Wednesday from Addis Ababa to Mekele following the peace agreement.

Travellers from the Capital, Addis Ababa, jetted off to Mekele on Wednesday lunchtime.

The airline confirmed that the suspended air transport from Addis Ababa to Mekele was officially commenced at 6:00 local time today.

Following the peace agreement, the resumption of flights to Mekele by the airline confirmed the government’s continued commitment to the implementation of the peace agreement.

It was indicated in the launch schedule that work is being undertaken to restart the suspended flight to all destinations in the Tigray region.

It is to be remembered that the airline has announced on Tuesday that it is resuming regular flights to Mekele on December 28, 2022.
