Ethiopian Investment Commission, China IPA sign MoU for cooperation

Addis Ababa, May 12, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) and China International Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) have signed investment promotion and facilitation MoU in attendance of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Demeke Mekonnen and other high level government officials.

The two sides agreed to strengthen Chinese investment inflow into Ethiopia and export Ethiopian products to the Chinese market.

In the event, the Investment Commission also signed five new investment projects commencement agreements in logistics, agriculture, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing sectors with Chinese companies.
