Fenti Resu Zone of Afar Region fully freed from terrorist TPLF forces

Addis Ababa, September 8, 2021 (FBC) – Joint forces of the National Army Afar Special Force and Militia have freed Fenti Resu Zone of Afar region from TPLF aggression.

Afar Regional State Communcation Affairs Office said all places in the zone that had been previouisly invaded by the renegade group forces are now fully free from the Junta forces.

The Terrorist TPLF forces had occupied some woredas, towns and localities in the region and massacred civilians including women, children and elderly particulary in a specific place named Galicoma, and left thousands displaced.

Government is working with various partners to address the need of thousnds of people who fled their homes in the region and sheltered in various camps due to TPLF atrocities.
