Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed saddened by the death of Artist Madingo

Addis Ababa, September 27, 2022 (FBC) – FDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed expressed his condolence on the passing of prominent Ethiopian artist Madingo Afework.

“I am deeply saddened by the death of artist Madingo Afework. He contributed enormously for his country [Ethiopia] in his life”, Prime Minister Abiy sympathized.

“When the country was threatened [by conflicts], he went to the frontline and supported the army despite struggling with illness. He motivated the rookies at training camps”, he said.

“May his soul rest in peace’’, the Premier added.
